Anyone would think that Carter’s underwear for ‘men’ and ‘boys’ were suppliers to the Catholic church from the creepy nature of the print ads!

Being a kid in the 1970′s was a carefree time where parents smoked in the car (didn’t let you waste the air con to wind the windows down!), fathers wore safari suits to work (in the city), mothers took Valium to cope with staying at home and Barbie taught young girls the principles of being perfect and plastic. I never had a Barbie, in fact I only ever had one doll, who’s hair I cut off thinking it would grow back. I was way more into bikes, boats and engines. Seeing all the Barbie paraphernalia is sort of weird, as none of it was of any interest to me when I was growing up. I had no idea just how large the whole thing was. In the 1970′s  Barbie was big!

Today’s Barbie is a much more complicated matter …. living a sordid and ‘fast’ lifestyle.

What kind of world did my parents inhabit? If it was anything like this …. it was tragic!

This made me laugh….

So Hello Kitty does have a mouth. That’s only one of the revelations that Jason Freeny via his Moist Production site has brought to light!

My Dr. Romanelli X Hello Kitty Vintage Anatomical has only given me one side of the story whereas Jason has given me the ‘inside story’. Thank you!
